I'm super excited to announce that I am now Mrs. Kubala! We got married near the summer solstice at Carl's oldest daughter's favorite place, Castlewood Canyon. Our kids had such lovely, genuine, and meaningful things to say, with a little humor added. Noah kept tissues handy for me and held branches out of the way for photos, in addition to his role as best man and "keeper of the rings." Hannah officiated as an offical reverund. We call her "Da Rev" and she earned that title with her most excellent officiating skills! Maya was my Maid of Honor and wrote the kindest words about me that I've ever heard (so I'm glad that Noah kept the kleenex nearby). Carl, of course, made the day extra memorable with his chosen vows and just by being his amazing self... and kissing me "too soon" after I said my handwritten words to him. Hannah had to tell him "Not yet! Not yet!"
I feel so grateful to have such a loving and wonderful family and that we enjoyed the whole weekend with each other! As you can see, I couldn't stop smiling! I'm so glad I get to spend my life with Carl and I look forward to our adventures and time together (as a couple and as a family)!
A HUGE thank you to Natalie Beck of Natlie Beck Photography for taking our photos! I've known Natalie since both of our daughters were babies! We've worked together at countless weddings and have developed a friendship. It was really special to have her take our photos on our wedding day.

CE PHO 1021 Final Projects!
We wrapped up a fun and successful CE PHO 1021 class at EPIC! I was impressed by the quick application of skill, technique, and creativity, by all of the students. The variety of projects is also wonderful! I hope all of the students gained valuable experience and that they continue to use their student websites. Here are a few photos I wanted to share...

CE PHO 1021 - Photos of Students Working & Mike Larremore's Visit
It's hard to believe that we are starting the last week of this concurrent enrollment class. We've covered a lot of skills and techniques in a short amount of time - 13 three hour classes! Students have done a fantastic job and I'm excited to see what they create for their final project!
Also, a huge shout out to visiting photographer and head of the ACC photography department, Mike Larremore! Mike visited our class and taught students about high key and low key lighting. Students loved learning from another professional photographer! Thanks again, Mike!
