What does it mean to be a woman? How much are women defined, or limited, by the images prevalent in our culture? How do we define femininity, beauty, hygiene, and what is socially acceptable our society? In art classes we not only address these questions, but we also ask how can artists change or influence others. This artist, highlighted in this CNN article, aims to do just that: to influence not only how women are perceived but to give them the power to break the social chains that bind them.
